Edo Global Organization Annual Conference Dublin Ireland 23rd June, 2012     The President and members of Edo Global Organization and their hosts Edo Global Organization (Ireland) and Benin Community Ireland would like to invite you to our annual conference taking place at the:   Red Cow; Moran Hotels, Dublin 22 Ireland.     Under the distinguished Chairmanship of : Chief Nosakhare Isekhure JP The Isekhure of Benin Kingdom & Pro-Chancellor; Ambrose Alli University, Nigeria.   The Theme for this year’s conference is:   Youth Empowerment and Job Creation: Need for Government to Partner with Edo Diaspora.   The discussion will include, creating a sustainable healthy environment for the physical, psychological l and mental growth of our youths, youth education with emphasis on entrepreneurship, youth discipline, security of our towns and villages, safeguarding our boundaries and curbing youth crimes like kidnapping, armed robbery and cultism in schools.   The lack of gainful employment of our teeming population especially amongst the youths has led to their developmental derailment supporting the adage of an idle mind being the devil’s workshop.   Our youths have to be redirected away from these negative paths with the help from the three tiers of government, non-governmental organizations and the civil society to engage in farming to feed self and nation and attain food security, gainful employment and crime free community. . EDO GLOBAL ORGANIZATION decided to dedicate this year’s Annual Conference to these issues with the aim of proffering practical solutions to these unwholesome youth activities and project agricultural development to the fore as agriculture has the potential of employing a substantial percentage of the unemployed youths. The conference will bring together sons and daughters of Edo Kingdom from all over the world to discuss these specific issues which are responsible for the endemic underdevelopment of Edo State, creating youth unemployment and to proffer appropriate solutions to address them.
