My dear brothers and sisters, I thank you wholeheartedly for the opportunity to deliver this speech at the 13th Annual Convention of ENA in the motor city of Detroit, Michigan USA. The topic ‘Health
Promotion and Disease Prevention’ adopted for this convention is very timely considering the number of our brothers and sisters that have died recently due to preventable causes and the dismal state of health in our nation Nigeria and our Edo State in particular as I discussed in Boston Massachusetts in July 2004. http://edoglobalorganization.org/poverty.htm
My topic for discussion ‘maintaining good health in a noxious political climate and the depressed economy will try to advice on health promotion and disease prevention and enhance our economic status simultaneously both at home and in the Diaspora. As there are several speakers for this topic digging in from all directions, the likelihood of repetition cannot be eliminated.
